Jean Cocteau (1889-1963), Ornaments, a Rya, Finnish wool tapestry, 1963, woven by Mary Sciberras for Mediterranean Industries, numbered 1 of 50, labelled to the back, 155cm x 118cm Note: designed and made a few months before Cocteau's heart attack in 1963, production ceased shortly after. Along with another design, 'Face', only a few tapestries were produced. One other example of this design is known to exist.
