An Ashanti carved hardwood stool, Ghana, late 19th/early 20th century, the curved rectangular seat supported by four legs with saw-tooth decoration, around a central column incised with geometric forms, on a rectangular base, 50cm wide x 24cm deep x 39.5cm high.
