Oval earth base with gold-relief stand. Seated Venus, a book on her lap, who seems to be teaching her son Cupid, who is standing in front of her. Beside them stands the messenger of the gods Hermes with winged hat and staff. At the side two billing and cooing doves.

Beschreibung:
Ovaler Erdsockel mit goldreliefiertem Standring. Sitzende Venus, ein Buch auf dem Schoß, die ihren vor ihr stehenden Sohn Amor zu unterrichten scheint. Neben ihnen steht der Götterbote Hermes mit geflügeltem Hut und Stab. Seitlich zwei schnäbelnde Liebestauben.
