A circa 1980 Gandolfi 10 x 8 plate camera. With original receipt showing purchase price of £738.30.Louis Gandolfi founded the eponymous company in 1885. It was family run until it was taken over in 1982. The last of the Gandolfi brothers died in 1993 and the company eventually ceased trading in 2017.
