A Chinese porcelain famille rose sleeve vase, probably early 19th century, finely painted with five elegant ladies beside a tree in a fenced garden, a mountainous lake landscape beyond, 11in. (28cm.) high, crack to rim. There is a long hairline crack from the rim, extending down approx. 6 inches. Minor gilt wear. Scratch to glaze to grass below figures. No other faults.
