Lincoln Cents 1909 1C VDB MS67+ Red PCGS. The Lincoln

Lincoln Cents
1909 1C VDB MS67+ Red PCGS. The Lincoln cent's first appearance in 1909 featured the initials of the designer, Victor David Brenner, prominently on the center of the reverse, and the VDB initials are memorably displayed on this Plus-grade Superb Gem. With slight imperfections that are microscopic and consistent with the grade, this piece is sharply struck in peach-gold coruscating surfaces that flash amber and rose-gold hues for highly appealing visual presentation. Examples in this grade are elusive, and PCGS reports only six Red examples finer (2/25). Population: 464 in 67 (76 in 67+) Red, 6 finer (2/25). www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
