1938 50C MS67+ NGC. CAC. Although nowhere near as rare as its Denver Mint counterpart, the 1938 P-mint Walking Liberty half is only marginally more available in Superb Gem condition despite a mintage exceeding 4.1 million pieces. This is a brilliant high-end example, entirely untoned with sparkling mint luster and a sharper strike than usually seen on even those few coins at the MS67+ level. PCGS and NGC each report a single finer example. NGC Census: 6 in 67+, 1 finer. CAC: 51 in 67, 0 finer (8/23).
