INDEPENDENCE DAY (1996) - Two Console-Bound Harvester Model Miniatures - Two console-bound Harvester model miniatures from Roland Emmerich's sci-fi action film Independence Day. Captain Steven Hiller (Will Smith) and David Levinson (Jeff Goldblum) saw Harvester aliens at computer consoles when they flew into the Harvesters' Mothership. Constructed by effects company Cinema Production Services, these two ornately detailed cast resin models are hand-painted blue and green and come mounted to command stations inset with electronic wiring for powering lights. They exhibit chipped paint, exposing the resin, and have had their wires cut following production, rendering them non-functional.
