Rare and charming children's edition featuring a reduced version of the knight's adventures. The text is printed in large type, with ample line spacing to facilitate reading. The set is illustrated with numerous plates by Edmond Morin, redesigned by Louis Gustave Ricard and lithographed by Roche. Originally published by Aubert, there is also a rare edition of the same illustrations in color published by Wentzel in Paris.
