[ Maritime ] Chess Board Chess board made from Titanic wreck wood by the cable ship Minia's carpenter, William Parker. The Minia was sent out to recover bodies of Titanic victims, but also, recovered a lot of wooden debris. Parker made several pieces from the recovered wreck wood, including this beautiful chess board. It was displayed at the Manitoba Museum of the Titanic. It is in excellent condition and constructed of inlaid mahogany, walnut, oak, and pine. Includes provenance report prepared by Steve Santini."
