STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE (1977) - Production-Made Imperial TIE Fighter Model Miniature Components - Imperial TIE fighter model miniature components from the production of George Lucas' Star Wars: A New Hope. Imperial TIE fighters were the standard combat ships of the Galactic Empire. This set of unfinished resin components cast by Industrial Light & Magic's (ILM) miniatures team for the TIE models comes from the collection of veteran model maker Dave Jones. It consists of two bottom hatch sections painted black and silver, an unpainted wing collar, and a gray blaster light with its bulb painted orange. The set exhibits paint flaking throughout, and the hatch sections are scratched from production.
