A Persian gold damascened steel kashkul, 19th century,of coco-de-mer form, the base of the body with a damascened raised medallion within a further medallion and a larger pole medallion, the shoulder with a band of inscription filled cartouches, below an undulating floral vine, the top engraved with two figures smoking nargileh with an inscription filled cartouche between them, on a ground of scrolling leafy vines, complete with handles and chain, height 14cm, length 28cm, depth 13cm. Provenance: From a private Marazion collection.
