The Villingen Cup - with lid, coat of arms and city view of the Giant Mountains, around 1720-1725 disc base with tear and polished, bleached olive wreath as well as cut, partly polished border with fretwork and bandwork. Between one and two ring discs faceted baluster shaft with spirally enclosed gold ruby and gold threads. Kuppa funnel-shaped, rounded at the base, faceted 14 times. Under a richly detailed canopy, two crowned coats of arms formerly borne by the city of Villingen, including the townscape of Villingen based on the engraving by Matthaeus Merian the Elder, flanked by two double-tailed lions in sphinx posture. On the reverse, an ancient warrior figure with a feather helmet, short sword and round shield on a console under a canopy. At the foot of the console are two winged dragons, above them grotesque heads and a vase of flowers, as well as an eagle with a flower festoon in its beak. The entire remaining area of the kuppa is decorated with curled tendrils. Below the lip margin, matt foliage and bandwork frieze, with flared beads and prongs. Hood lid appropriately decorated with cone-shaped knob, knob tip min. chipped. Der Villingen Pokal - mit Deckel, Wappen und Stadtansicht Riesengebirge, um 1720-1725 Scheibenfuß mit Abriss und geschliffenem, geblänktem Olivkranz sowie geschnittener, teils polierter Bordüre mit Laub- und Bandelwerk. Zwischen einer und zwei Ringscheiben facettierter Balusterschaft mit spiralförmig eingeschlossenen Goldrubin- und Goldfäden. Kuppa trichterförmig, am Ansatz gerundet, 14-fach facettiert. Unter einem detailreichen Baldachin zwei früher von der Stadt Villingen geführte, bekrönte Wappen, darunter die Stadtansicht Villingens nach der Stichvorlage von Matthaeus Merian d. Ä., flankiert von zwei zwiegeschwänzten Löwen in Sphinxhaltung. Rückseitig eine antikische Kriegerfigur mit Federhelm, Kurzschwert und Rundschild auf einer Konsole unter einem Baldachin. Am Fuß der Konsole zwei geflügelte Drachen, darüber groteske Köpfe und eine Blumenvase, sowie ein Adler mit einem Blütenfeston im Schnabel. Die gesamte übrige Fläche der Kuppa verziert mit eingerollten Ranken. Unterhalb des Lippenrandes mattgeschnittener Laub- und Bandelwerkfries, mit geblänkten Perlen und Zacken. Haubendeckel mit zapfenförmigem Knauf passend dekoriert, Knaufspitze min. bestoßen.
