An 1829 model non-regulation infantry officer sabre, with turning hilt
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Austria, Curved, tipped, single-and short false-edged blade, with fuller, engraved at the forte with trophies and racemes, signed 'A Pospischil' and 'Wien'. The first segment of the rear part engraved with racemes. Iron hilt with stirrup guard provided with an additional loop-guard that can be rotated 90° and is provided with a locking system. Long, smooth cap. Grip with old leather covering. Iron scabbard with two lugs. length 96 cm.
