A Victorian silver four-piece tea and coffee service Stephen Smith & William Nicholson, London 1855 - 1857 Plain baluster form with incurved neck flaring to a quatrefoil rim, the naturalist vine handle capped with a bearded Rams mask and terminating with a cluster of vine leaves, the sides engraved with vacant cartouches, the pots with hinged dome covers and unmarked leafy branch finials, the handles of the pots with ivory insulators, underside of one pot with presentation inscription, weight total 72oz .
