In 1964, Rolex joined the French races “Le Mans » and also with the famous American car circuit “Daytona ». The cosmograph was first marketed under the name “Le Mans », but Rolex very quickly opted for the name “Daytona ». This model is from 1967. It is manual-winding, equipped with the famous Valjoux 722-1. La référence 6239, la première Cosmograph Daytona introduite dans la collection Rolex, a été lancée en 1963. En 1964, Rolex s’associe aux courses Françaises “Le Mans » et également au célèbre circuit automobile Américain “Daytona ».
